Earliest this week, rumors began flying that Robin Thicke had decided to pop the big question to his model girlfriend, April Love Geary. With the news, came numerous questions from fans about how fast the couple was moving with their relationship and if Thicke was really over his ex-wife, Paula Patton. But all questions have now been silenced because Thicke recently shared with the world that the rumor is false.
As previously reported, Life & Style magazine sources claimed that Thicke recently proposed to Geary and that she said yes.
The sources also claimed that Thicke’s parents were worried because Geary is 18 years Thicke’s junior and because the couple only began dating last October.
“Both his parents have told him to take some time and not rush into marriage again so soon,” the source shared. However, the sources say that Thicke isn’t listening to his parents’ concerns. “They go almost everywhere together. He’s totally obsessed with her.”
However, it appears that none of that was true because Thicke hopped on Twitter yesterday and announced that he’s not engaged.
Geary went on Instagram and announced as well that there’s no engagement.
Well, clearly that was a false alarm for all the concerned Thicke fans.
