This past weekend, Nicki Minaj set fire to the Internet when, during a Pinkprint tour stop, she brought her boyfriend, Meek Mill, out on stage and introduced him as her “baby father.” With lightning speed, the whole world began speculating that Minaj was pregnant with Meek’s child. However, a new report claims that Minaj isn’t having Meek’s baby any time soon.
After the video of Minaj calling Meek her “baby father” went viral, the rap superstar tweeted the video along with several laughing emojis, hinting that she was just joking with the “baby father” comment.
And yesterday, TMZ reported that sources are saying Minaj uses the phrase “baby father” regularly with people that she adores and that she’s even used the term to describe her mentor and label boss, Lil Wayne.
The sources claim that both Meek and MInaj feel confident that their relationship will stand the test of time, but they don’t plan on having kids together until after they get married.
Well, we’re not surprised that Minaj isn’t pregnant, especially since she’s the one who initially claimed that she wouldn’t be popping out any babies without a ring on her finger from Meek.
