Joseph W. Walker III helps Christians rejuvenate their relationship with God regularly as senior pastor of 30,000-member Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Nashville, Tennessee. With his new book that releases Oct. 6, he wants to assist followers of Jesus Christ worldwide with hitting the reset button on their faith and guide believers toward a more fulfilling life built on trust in the Lord.

Reset Your Life: Make A New Start lays out a plan for readers that leads to a new, inspiring outlook on life. Walker uses the eight Rs — Reset, Return, Review and Recalculate, Reclaim, Redirect, Reinvigorate and Revive, Reinvest, and Reinvent — as a foundation for the book and as markers readers can refer back to when dealing with specific challenges.

“This book is an outgrowth of my ministry and that of my church,” Walker said via a press release. “It aims to engage you in the process and possibilities of being reset. This book is God’s way of what I like to refer to as GMC, or His Grace, Mercy, and Compassion to giving us second chances by allowing us to RESET and follow his will for our lives.”

Walker addresses real-life problems readers may be facing, such as questioning life’s purpose, questioning a marriage or relationship, feeling unsure about a career path, and feeling unfulfilled spiritually.

As a pastor, community leader, philanthropist, and presiding bishop of Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship, International, Walker knows that his expertise in leading others to salvation and a more purposeful life will shine through in Reset Your Life: Make A New Start.
