Sure he hates Mexicans, isn’t too fond of Blacks and is a total womanizer, but one thing is for sure, Donald Trump loves Kanye West…
As you may recall, on Sunday, Yeezy sent Twitter into a tizzy when he announced at the end of his 13-minute speech while accepting the prestigious Video Vanguard Award at the 2015 Video Music Awards that he is running for president in 2020.
So, naturally, presidential hopeful Donald Trump had something to say about the much-buzzed about proclamation. “He’s said very nice things about me in the past… extremely positive things,” the 69-year-old told Rolling Stone during a sit-down at Trump Tower on Tuesday.
He even hinted that he may have inspired West’s announcement… “I was actually watching, I saw him [announce his candidacy on the VMAs], and I said, ‘That’s very interesting. I wonder who gave him that idea?'” he said.
Oddly enough, Trump previously slammed ‘Ye after his infamous stunt at the 2009 VMAs, in addiction to calling for a boycott of the outspoken musician. But it appears that it’s all water under the bridge for Trump, who told Rolling Stone that he’d love to run against Kim Kardashian’s main man.
“He’s actually a different kind of person than people think. He’s a nice guy,” Trump said of the soon-to-be father. “I hope to run against him someday.”
While it’s obvious by a multitude of hilarious memes that no one is taking West serious, the presidential debate in itself would be a must-watch!
