Marvel’s Luke Cage has found its Cottonmouth, Deadline reports. Mahershala Ali, best known for his role in “House Of Cards,” and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay parts 1 and 2, has nabbed the role of Cornell “Cottonmouth” Stokes in the third series of Marvel’s four-series package exclusively for Netflix.

A Harlem nightclub owner, Stokes will become an unexpected foe in Luke’s life when Stokes’ criminal activities threaten Luke’s world.

“Mahershala is an actor of extraordinary range and gravitas. As Cottonmouth he will really let loose,” Jeph Loeb, executive producer and head of Marvel Television, said in a statement. “Luke Cage won’t know what hit him.”

Rounding out the cast as Cage himself is actor Mike Colter, aka a wrongly accused man who gained super-strength following a sabotaged experiment. After escaping prison, he becomes a superhero for hire. Alfre Woodard, Theo Rossi and Simone Messick have also landed roles along with Rosario Dawson, who will reprise her role as Claire Temple from Netflix’s now popular “Daredevil” series.

Marvel’s Luke Cage will premiere in 2016 on Netflix. Will you be watching?
