Ludacris has taken over Atlanta’s Labor Day weekend with his LudaDay Weekend festivities for a decade. The four-day event features live performances, golf and bowling tournaments, a foundation dinner and brunch, and a celebrity basketball game.
On Sept. 3, Ludacris kicked things off with a celebrity bowling tournament at Bowlmor in North Atlanta. Attendees included Usher, Dwyane Wade, Gabrielle Union, Keshia Knight Pulliam, Teddy Riley, David Banner, and Big K.R.I.T.
On Sept. 4, Ludacris will start the day with a golf tournament that will feature Mayor Kasim Reed, Grant Hill, Paul Milsap, and Ryan Cameron. In the evening, he will host the “Welcome to Atlanta” dinner. On Sept. 5, a free block party and concert will take place at Clark Atlanta University in the afternoon. Luda will host his foundation brunch on Sunday morning and the much anticipated celebrity basketball game will take place that afternoon at Georgia State University. Chris Brown, La La Anthony, Raven Symone, and several NBA players will participate.
LudaDay weekend seeks to raise money for local charities in the Atlanta area. The foundation reportedly raised $200,000 in 2014.
