2 people shot outside Grady High School stadium during football game

Two people were shot outside Grady High School in Atlanta, Georgia, causing their game against Carver High to end early. What sounded like a round of machine gun shots fired just outside the stadium on 8th and Monroe put the entire football game crowd and players in an uproar. Everyone got frantic because of the close proximity of the gunfire; running off the field to the locker rooms and parking lot. The shooting resulted in two wonded people being transported to Grady Hospital.

One person’s head and leg was grazed by bullets and another person was shot in the back. The shooting took place outside the stadium and alledgely the shooting was gang related. At the scene of the crime, police were not certain of why exactly the shooting even occured. No suspects were apprehended at press time.


The condition of the two people taken to the hospital is still unknown and the story is still developing.
