Tamera Mowry-Housley offers a first glimpse at her newborn baby girl, Ariah Talea Housley. In a new post via Instagram, the “The Real” co-host shared a snap of her bundle of joy from the latest issue of PEOPLE.
“Thanks so much to @peoplemag for capturing these beautiful photos and helping me introduce Ariah to the world. Magazines is out now,” read the caption.
On July 1, Mowry welcomed Ariah, making this baby number two for she and her hubby Adam.
Following the birth of their baby girl, Mowry took to her blog, where she broke down how they came up with the name Ariah, meaning “Lion of God”: “So it worked out that before Adam and I were even married we stumbled across a shop named Araya. I stopped and immediately told him I loved the name and wanted that to be my future daughter’s name. It was and is such a beautiful name. The only catch was that I wanted to spell her name phonetically, so people wouldn’t mess it up and call her a-ray-ha.”
She continued, “We entertained other names like Arriana and Aliana after I became pregnant, but I always came back to loving Ariah and ultimately committed to the perfect name for our baby girl.”
Too cute! Congrats again to the couple.
