Jaws dropped across the Internet last week during the “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” reunion when longtime bitter enemies Mimi Faust and Joseline Hernandez finally buried the hatchet and made peace with each other onstage in front of millions of fans. Now, Faust is opening up about why she decided to take it upon herself to forgive the Puerto Rican Princess.
In a new interview with The Hip-Hop Socialite, Faust spoke about Hernandez apologizing to her for all their years of feuding.
“Everything about that woman is just like, ‘Wait, what?’You just never know what you’re going to get — it’s like you”re rolling dice. You just don’t know. She can come and try and knock your head off, she could come and apologize, you just don’t know. It’s just bizarre,” Faust said.
Faust then spoke about the infamous moment where she walked up to Hernandez, hugged her and thanked her for not only making Stevie J happy but helping them become friends with each other again.
“I was just tired of the B.S. – I was just tired of it. And for some reason, she seems to think or thought that I was mad or ‘You mad ‘cause I took your man; I took your n—-.’ And I’m like, sweetie, are you serious? This is what she …you know, ‘You just mad I took your man.’ I’m like, girl. I just had to let her know, and I needed to let the rest of the world know, this ain’t that, I’m not mad at that, I haven’t been mad at that in a very long time. And I was just tired of, you know, she’ll make something seem a way to the public, and I was just like, no, this ain’t that, Lord Jesus. And actually Jesus took the wheel,” Faust said.
But are Faust and Hernandez still on good terms? Find out after the cut.
