All summer long, reports about the ever-changing cast of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” have kept fans waiting to see which women will hold a peach, which will just be friends, and which will get the ax from the show. One woman in particular, model Amiyah Scott, has been getting a lot of attention ever since rumors began flying that she would be the first transgender woman to join the cast. But according to former series star NeNe Leakes, fans shouldn’t believe everything they read.

As previously reported, Scott has been spotted filming scenes for the show with cast members. However, reports have claimed that she doesn’t have a contract to hold a peach and that she’s more likely to just be a friend on the show.

When Leakes, who left the show this year after seven seasons, appeared on “Access Hollywood Live” recently, she claimed that Scott, as well as many other women, aren’t going to be a part of the show’s cast.

“All lies. It’s just a way to get everybody to tune in. Guarantee you that,” said Leakes. “None of those people that you’ve been hearing about will be Housewives.”

But the interview didn’t stop there. Later on Leakes was asked if she’d join “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”

“Oh, I would love to join the Beverly Hills Housewives. I’d be the only Brown girl there,” Leakes said.

Who knows? Maybe Leakes will eventually make an appearance on “RHOBH.” However, we think she’s enjoying doing other things in Hollywood for now.
