Former reality star NeNe Leakes caused folks to slam the brakes after hearing her interesting perspective on infidelity and being a mistress.
“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” alum flipped the internet over when she seemingly endorsed extramarital dalliances — just as long as the spouse demonstrates discretion with the person he or she is amorously infatuated with.

“Now, respectful cheating … I can deal with that,” Leakes said as she gesticulated wildly while driving with reality show mogul Carlos King.
King recoiled in surprise, saying, “You can?!?”
“Say he goes to New York for the weekend,” Leakes continued as King’s mouth hung agape. “What you don’t know won’t hurt you.”
“If you’re going to cheat you need to do it with respect. I don’t like people who are not respectful,” the notoriously blunt TV personality told her 4.5 million Instagram followers.

Leakes explains to the listeners that a person who lies to the “side piece” is disrespectful, and they need to be candid and transparent with the person they’re cheating with.
Leakes then tells the would-be cheater how to instruct the “side piece” to comport themselves appropriately should the three ever cross paths in public.
“‘Give me 50 feet on my woman,” Leakes tells the man to pass on to his mistress. “Don’t ever approach me when you see me with my woman. You can never approach.'”
The former flagship “RHOA” star reiterated, “I do believe there has to be respectful cheating.”
