Congratulations are in order to “Preachers of L.A.” star Deitrick Haddon and his wife Dominique as the happy couple recently welcomed a newborn son to the world.
Christened Deitrick Haddon, Jr., the newborn joins sisters Denver and Destin in the growing Haddon family.
In anticipation of Deitrick, Jr.’s arrival back in April, Papa Haddon spoke of the possibility of his son following his footsteps into the world of entertainment.telling the Oxygen Network:
“I’m not putting the pressure on him to be a singer or TV star. He doesn’t have to do any of those things,” Haddon told Oxygen. “I’ll tell him that whatever he does, he has to be great. I’m going to push him to be great by giving him an education and laying down a foundation, and then I’m going to watch him grow. I’ll say ‘get outta here! Be a doctor or a lawyer! Don’t do what your daddy did. Okay, if he tells me that he was called to it, that he wakes up and goes to sleep thinking about it, then I’ll surrender and help him get a good head start. But, gospel music is not an easy career choice.”
Haddon took to social media shortly after his son was born to make the big announcement and assure fans that both mama and baby are doing fine.
