Rihanna’s white financial planner is being accused of racism and sexism. According to the New York Post, the details were revealed in a lawsuit filed by a former employee of Flynn Family Office.

Filed by Robert Solomon, 42, the lawsuit claims that the Flynn Family Office fostered an environment that  was racist and sexist. Solomon claims that Alan Kufeld, Rihanna’s financial planner, often made negative statements about his client.

During a rant about Caribbean women, Kufeld allegedly said that Rihanna was only “hot” because her skin tone wasn’t “too dark.” He went on to break down which Caribbean women were sexy based on their skin tone. Kufeld and the company’s COO, Rick Flynn, also said that a co-worker lost points because she was “too dark.”

If the claims in the lawsuit are true, it reveals how Black celebrities are often managed by people who will smile and take their money while maintaining racist ideas.

Rihanna’s reps have yet to respond to Kufeld’s remarks.

Solomon was recently dismissed from the firm. The Flynn Family Office has denied Solomon’s claims.
