Young Money rapper and Lil Wayne affiliate Flow has been (re)arrested and officially indicted by a grand jury on murder charges in connection with a Memorial Day incident that left two people dead in New Orleans.
Back in July, the 23-year-old rapper, born Widner Degruy, was arrested for the murders of his “longtime friend” Kendrick “Muddy Cup” Bishop and his 18-year-old brother, Kendred Bishop. Degruy has been charged with two counts of second-degree murder, one count of conspiracy to commit second-degree murder, and one count of obstruction of justice.
Degruy was out on $500,000 bail before the indiciment was handed down over the weekend. An accomplice to Degruy, 18-year-old Jonathan “Lil Joe” Evans, was also arrested back in July and indicted this week as well, but he was never able to post bail and has remained behind bars since his initial arrest.
Degruy’s girlfriend, Jamya Brady, has also been charged with two counts of obstruction of justice in the case. Authorities are on the hunt for a man named Chantell Edwards, who is named in the new indictment as an accessory to the murders.
Bail for both Degruy and Evans has been set at $3.5 million.
