During last night’s “DWTS,” Zolciak skyped into the show and revealed that although she was cleared by her doctor to dance on the show, she wasn’t cleared to fly. And since she was at home in Atlanta, she wasn’t able to drive all the way to the west coast for the show.
Unfortunately, host Tom Bergeron announced that the show’s rules mandate that any contestant who doesn’t show up for a performance, even if it’s for medical reasons, is automatically disqualified from the show.
Zolciak has asked fans to call in and pressure producers to let her back on since, in the past, they’ve judged sick contestants on their rehearsal videos. However, the show’s lawyers claim they are going to stick with the rules of the show.
