Chris Brown found himself in quite the predicament this past week when it was revealed that he’d been banned from performing in Australia because of his dark past of domestic violence with fellow pop superstar Rihanna. But now it seems that Brown is trying to come up with a positive solution to his problem with Australia.
As previously reported, Brown was issued a “notice of intention to consider refusal” by Australian officials and told he has 28 days to appeal and prove why he shouldn’t be banned from entering the country for his Hell of a Night tour.
Brown’s team, however, denied that he’d been banned, saying instead that officials were still reviewing his request to enter the country.
“Contrary to media reports, Chris Brown’s request to enter Australia on tour has not been denied. This request is currently being considered by the office of the Immigration Minister. We respect their right to review this request and have faith that a decision will be made with the full consideration of his continued personal growth, ongoing philanthropic endeavors and desire to performs for his fans,” read a statement from his team.
Well, it seems Brown is being proactive about proving to officials why he should be welcomed into their country because he recently posted a series of tweets about a plan to speak against domestic violence. Read the tweets, after the cut.
