Jeanette Dousdebes
Marco Rubio proposed to former Miami Dolphins cheerleader Jeanette Dousdebes on top of the Empire State Building on Valentine’s Day. Jeanette, who comes from a Columbian background, aspired to be a fashion designer, but when she became pregnant with her first child, she decided to be a stay-at-home mom, according to the Tampa Bay Times. When her husband was running for the Senate, news outlets notice she was not a fan of the spotlight. She told Politico she was shy and that she did not want to “push herself to be out there” so she could refrain from putting a strain on the family. The couple has four children — Amanda, Anthony, Dominic and Daniella.
