Mary Pat Christie
Mary Pat Christie is the first lady of New Jersey. She met Chris Christie at the University of Delaware, where she succeeded him as the student body president. She defeated a petition calling to defund a gay and lesbian organization and conducted a protest against raising tuition, according to a Bloomberg profile. She went on to receive a master’s in business administration from Seton Hall University, married Chris in 1986, and had four children — Andrew, Sarah, Patrick and Bridget. Mary is the former breadwinner of her household, as she recently quit her high-paying Wall Street job when her husband began considering running for president.
