Zoë Kravitz pops a dope pose for C. Magazine.
The singer and actress, 26, nabs the October cover of C. Magazine, donned in a sexy, sheer top paired with a plaid, skater skirt. In the image, snapped by photographer Daniel Jackson, the Lolawolf front woman completes her look with waist-grazing braids that flow freely, perfectly complementing her smoky eye and nude lippie.
In the pages, the Mad Max: Fury Road starlet gushed about her daring style choices, stating that they are merely an extension of who she is as an artist: “Fashion really inspires me and always has. It triggers all kinds of memories and ideas and associations. It’s just the biggest F.U. when you have confidence and you’re wearing something crazy.”
With Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet as parents, it’s no surprise that Kravitz is willing to take risks in the name of fashion. Despite her A-list roots, Kravitz also stated her belief that she was always destined for stardom. “I always sang,” she explained. “I don’t really know when it started, but I remember putting on shows for my grandparents and making them watch me sing ‘Over the Rainbow’ and stuff like that. People who have known me my whole life say that I was always destined — or doomed, depending on how you look at it — to be in the entertainment industry.”
Based on Kravitz’s roles just this year in Dope, Mad Max: Fury Road, and Insurgent, including her breakout music career, we’d tend to agree!
