In light of the shocking news that Lamar Odom is in critical condition after being found unconscious in a Nevada brothel on Tuesday, Oct. 14, celebrities like Dwyane Wade are sending their well wishes to the former NBA star via Twitter.
“PRAYERS all the way UP for my brother Lamar Odom!!!” Wade wrote on Twitter. Wade’s wife, Gabrielle Union, later re-tweeted his words. Hours later Wade shared another tweet: “I can’t help but be up right now thinking about my ex-teammate/friend LO…On my knees praying…please God let him pull through.”
As previously reported, the two-time NBA champ was found unconscious at Bunny Love Ranch in Nevada around 3:30 p.m. He was taken to a local hospital, Desert View Hospital, where he was treated by physicians prior to being rushed to Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas for further treatment. Dennis Hof, the owner of the Bunny Love Ranch, tells PEOPLE that Odom had been in “high spirits” for the majority of his stay, which began on Saturday, Oct. 10. According to reports, Odom has not yet regained consciousness and the prognosis does not look good.
As expected, Wade and Union weren’t the only ones to reach out to Odom and his loved ones, via Twitter. A variety of athletes and celebrities tweeted positive vibes, including Paul Pierce, the Miami Heat organization, Jonas Jerebko and actress Ariel Winter. While ex-wife Khloé Kardashian has been silent about the incident, E! News reports that she flew straight to Las Vegas to be by his side.
