For Halloween, rapper Silento was doing more than the Nae-Nae and the Whip. The young rapper joined forces with R&B singer Kelly Rowland and Newark Mayor Ras Baraka to give New Jersey costumes and candy at the John F. Kennedy Recreation center.
“When I first moved to Texas, I really got into the whole spirit of Halloween,” Rowland tells media. “My mom and her boss dressed me up as a cowgirl. We got the boots, the hat, they put a little denim shirt on me and kind of tied it up. I had the big skirt. It also looked as if I was going to a hoedown. They also stuffed my bra, a bra that I couldn’t fit at the time and I looked like a black Dolly Parton.” The new mom and her nearly one-year-old and now walking son, Titan, will celebrate their first Halloween together either as Disney’s Minnie and Mickey Mouse, Pepe Le Pew, the skunk or maybe even Bambi. We will definitely be stalking her IG to find out.
“Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)” rapper, Silento, surprised kids with his appearance.
Thousands of kids stepped in the M&M’S Pop-up costume shop and emerged with handfuls of goodies.
