What inspired you to start the AmoraRenae Collection?
The idea for the business originally came when we were in high school. Everyone can identify with the awkward teenage years — the time when you’re finding your new style and identity and dealing with the pressures of high school social life. At the time, I was in 10th grade, ready for a new look, and so I went on my search for good-quality extensions. I searched high and low for great hair, even asked my classmates about it, but I couldn’t find high-quality hair without a high-quality price tag. So, that’s when the idea struck me: We could make high-quality extensions affordable and accessible! I was certain that I wasn’t the only girl in Metro Detroit having a hard time locating some fabulous tresses. So, that’s where the idea came from — looking for some beautiful hair myself!

What separates us from other brands is our superior quality of hair and our quality control. We personally test out and wear every hair we carry and sell. We have over 10 different textures & we have a full Pro Hair Care Line that consists of 8-10 products.

The most important aspect of making a line of products and having a store front is that people value being able to come in an actually feel and see the product. Our pro hair care line can compete with the most recognizable names; it indeed works. It can cater to women who rock their natural hair as well as extensions.
What is your best-selling product, and why do you think it’s the most popular?
Our best-selling product is our Cambodian Bodywave. This hair has so much luster, fullness, versatility and body. This hair can be worn in its natural wavy state or can be silked straight to perfection.

How do you plan to expand your line?
We plan to expand our brand by opening up several locations all around the globe. We are opening our third store now in Atlanta, and we will continue to dominate the hair industry.
