Singer and television host Tamar Braxton was all set to join three-time Grammy nominee Kem on his Promise to Love tour before she fell ill with blood clots in both lungs and was forced to cancel her appearances.

Nonetheless, the show must go on and the Detroit-based crooner has rounded up a few friends to fill in for Braxton when the tour  pulls into Washington, D.C., later this week.

Joining Kem for selected dates on the tour will be R&B favorites Avant, Jazmine Sullivan, and Marsha Ambrosius. Kem’s protégée and flagship artist on his Kemistry Records imprint, L’Renee, will also be a part of the show.

Promise to Love is available at all online outlets and in stores now.
