Nicki Minaj already has one loved one embroiled in legal drama now that her brother has been accused of raping a minor, but now it seems that her boyfriend, Meek Mill, is in legal hot water as well, as a new report reveals that Meek might be facing jail time, yet again.
According to media reports, the MMG rapper has been on probation for a drug and gun conviction back in 2009 and the court requires him, as of Nov. 1, 2015, to obtain a travel voucher before leaving his hometown of Philadelphia.
However, a judge ordered Meek to appear in court this morning for a probation violation and it’s suspected that the reason is because he may not have obtained a travel voucher to appear at the American Music Awards in L.A. last month.
If Meek did violate his probation, then he could be sentenced to prison for an unknown amount of time.
However, if that does happen, it wouldn’t be the first time that Meek did prison time for violating probation. In July 2014, Meek was sent to prison for multiple probation violations, including repeatedly scheduling concerts without getting prior approval, and changing his cellphone number without notifying officials.
There’s no update yet on how the court appearance is going.
