As if Meek Mill didn’t already have his hands full enough with Drake, the Philly emcee has decided to take on yet another adversary in G-Unit head honcho 50 Cent.
Perhaps an off-shoot of 50’s ongoing back and forth with MMG boss Rick Ross, Meek’s rumble with the Jamaica, Queens mogul has gotten really personal really quickly thanks to a track called “Gave Em Hope” from Meek’s recently released surprise EP, 4/4. On the track’s second verse Meek goes for 50’s jugular:
I got 50 reasons say you’re taking d–k
Got the richest chick, she’s from your hood
Ni–as hating on me, I ain’t really tripping, s–t, I’m good
I be deep in your ‘hood where you never be at
Be with them guys that you never could dap
You could never adapt, you know the game,
If you cosign a rat, you forever a rat
We were never with that
You tried to go ‘Money’ May with that paper
But now you in debt cause you never was that
It wasn’t long after the song hit the internet that 50 took to his Instagram account to roast Meek in the way that only he can.
Check out some 50’s post below and Meek’s response after the cut.
