For more than a year, Birdman and Lil Wayne were embroiled in a bitter feud as well as a court battle as Wayne fought to break all business ties with his mentor and Cash Money Records. However, weeks ago, rumors began brewing that the two old friends were on their way to finally patching things up. Now, the Cash Money Records boss has finally opened up about where he and Wayne stand these days.
According to media reports, Birdman was performing at Club LIV in Miami on Sunday night when he brought Wayne on stage with him and announced that their feud is over.
“I know in the last month y’all heard ‘he say, she say’ s—. Family never die. This my motherf—— son and Im’ma die for him, Im’ma live for him, and I’ll motherf—— kill for him. That ain’t never gonna change n—-. It’s YMCMB for life and we gonna live this s—,” Birdman told the crowd as Wayne stood next to him.
Well, it looks like all is well now in the YMCMB camp. Hopefully, this new peace treaty will last.
