For a moment, it looked as though Adele was coming to re-claim her crown and take back the top spot on the Billboard 200 but alas it was not meant to be, as Las Vegas based rockers Panic! At The Disco snuck in to earn their first ever number one album.

Panic’s latest offering, Death Of A Bachelor, was able to tally 190K impressions (169K pure sales) to outpace Adele’s record-breaking third album, 25, which racked up an additional 147K impressions.

Overall, it was a pretty stagnant week for the rest of the top ten. Adele and Justin Bieber maintained their positions from last week as number two and three, respectively. David Bowie pulled off the rare feat of replacing himself at the number four spot, as his Best of Bowie collection drops from four to seven to make room for his latest album, Blackstar, which topped the chart last week, Twenty One Pilots also held steady from their position a week ago, as they maintained the fifth spot. The only other new entry into this week’s top ten is the latest from the Kidz Bop Kids, as their Kidz Bop 31 bows at number six.
