Bey and Jay are finalizing an ironclad post-nup, according to media reports, which will detail their combined $1 billion fortune and how it will be divvied up if the couple parts ways. “They have a pre-nuptial agreement already in place, but so much has happened in terms of their empire that it’s needed updating for some time,” a source tells Radaronline of the superstar duo.
“When they went through their roughest period last year, they both agreed it was time to reclarify certain aspects of their agreement, but it’s taken months to go through all their assets with a fine-tooth comb,” added the insider.
Needless to say, reports of the ironclad post-nup have some critics questioning the couple’s relationship. Over the years the duo has been plagued with reports of infidelity and divorce. While prenups and post-nups seem to be a prerequisite for relationships involving an insane amount of money, the fact that it’s taken years to reach an agreement leaves inquiring minds with a few questions.
