The outstanding 26-year-old player has received an incredible amount of praise and criticism in his role as quarterback, The main issue being that Newton does not back down from fame and pride in his role as a winning Black quarterback leading a predominantly Black team. He will lead the Panthers against the Denver Broncos and their aging quarterback Peyton Manning in Super Bowl 50.
