The founders of Ladies Who Brunch ATL, Bianca Rush and Dayira “DayyBella” Jones, turned their glamorous brunch into a three-day extravaganza for young women wanting the scoop on the intricacies of being a female entrepreneur. Feb 5-7 marked the date for the Ladies of Business Conference 2016 at the posh Le Fais Do-Do venue in Atlanta. The spectacular affair kicked off with a Business Bestie Bash followed by the Pitch Please! competition won by participant Kyla Nicole. Attendees also had the opportunity to sit in on intimate, educational sessions to gain knowledge in business communications with Rachel Jackson, online branding with Dayybella, entrepreneurship with Nicole Garner-Scott and a keynote dinner with special guest Myleik Teele of CurlBOX.

This may be a local conference, but it certainly attracted a national audience. Ladies traveled from New York, California, New Orleans and reportedly Alaska to attend this conference. The diversity in the room caused attendees to have a one-of-a-kind networking experience and develop new friendships. The Ladies of Business conference joined together aspiring business women with established entrepreneurs. It’s rare for young women get an opportunity to meet face-to-face with their role models. “We are just excited to see all the girls from so many different backgrounds come out and show support. Being able to help others get their start by telling my story is a blessing,” said Rush.

Of course, the highlight of the event was the signature brunch and panel discussion featuring Jasmine Lawrence of Eden Body Works; Toya Wright, New York Times best-selling writer (Priceless Inspirations) and Garb Boutique owner; Claire Sulmers of Fashion Bomb Daily; Ming Lee of Snob Life Studio; and Miss Diddy, The Brand Group LA. The panel was hosted by the lovely Ariane Davis of “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta.”

“These women are all inspiring. We honestly could not have picked a better group for the panel. This event would not have been possible without the help of so many wonderful people,” said Jones.

The conference was sponsored by Black Girls Run!, Nissan Next, Bank of America, Mielle Organics, Sweet Bitch Wines, Myx Moscato, Eden Bodyworks and The Garner Circle. The conference was a huge success and this was only the first. Make sure not to miss out on attending next year.
