Although Beyoncé’s newest song “Formation” caused tons of controversy, especially after she performed at Super Bowl 50, all the publicity seems to have paid off. It’s been reported that not only has her upcoming tour already grossed $100 million, but she will strike while the iron’s hot and release two albums this year.

When the Formation World Tour was announced two weeks ago, many shows sold out within minutes in both the United States and Europe. With such a positive response to new music by the superstar, it isn’t far-fetched to figure that her new albums could reach platinum-selling status. So, according to the Inquisitr, she will drop an album in April that will be released exclusively for Tidal. Additionally, to kick off the tour, Beyoncé is expected to drop an album which will include the songs she will sing at her shows. This will be her sixth studio album. “Formation” is expected to be the lead single off of one of the projects.

It’s rumored that the Tidal album will be a collaboration from she and her husband, Jay Z.

Earlier this February, Beyoncé’s stylist, Ty Hunter, confirmed while he was a guest on Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live” that there will be an album coming.

“I’ve heard the new album and it’s beyond awesome,” he told host Andy Cohen.

Also, many of music’s most popular figures are suspected to have worked with Beyoncé on her newest projects, as they’ve hinted via social media that she’s been in the studio with these artists within the past year. The list includes Bone Thugs ‘N Harmony, Future and Sia. Model-actress Cara Delevingne and producer Mike Will Made-It are also expected to be a apart of the albums.

Are you excited about Beyoncé releasing all this new material? Do you think her upcoming albums will be classics?
