Kenya Moore has had a reputation as a troublemaker on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” ever since she joined the show. But for the past few episodes, her attitude has landed her in the hot seat with her friend, Cynthia Bailey, as well as her new “RHOA” enemy, Kim Fields. Despite all of the drama, Moore recently apologized to both ladies for her actions, but many wonder if they believe her.
As fans of the show will remember, Moore and Fields have been at odds with each other since the beginning of the season and things came to a head between them when Bailey asked them to work together on an eyewear commercial in Jamaica and Bailey chose to work with Fields alone after Moore skipped out on the pitch meeting.
Down in Jamaica, things got worse when Moore continuously berated Fields, brought up gay rumors about her husband, and then declined to support or appear in Bailey’s commercial. With so much tension brewing between the three ladies, Bailey and Fields decided to confront Moore about the drama. Although Moore admitted she had no plans to be friends with Fields, she did apologize to both women for her actions.
In their latest Bravo blog posts, Fields and Bailey spoke about Moore’s apologies and explained whether she was being sincere with them.
“I felt Kenya’s apology was very sincere and I was happy to receive it. In my heart I know that Kenya is my friend and only wants the best for me, as I only want the best for her. Best friend or not, her friendship means the world to me and I never meant to intentionally do anything to hurt her feelings. For that, I am truly sorry. Looking back, I wish I had been clearer about our relationship in Jamaica and expressed myself accordingly,” said Bailey.
However, Fields explained that she’s not so trusting of Moore.
“Only time can tell if an apology is sincere, based on the actions in the wake of the apology,” Fields said.
Fields also discussed Moore’s claims that she has been lying to the cast about her life and the skeletons in her closet, including the rumors that her husband, Chris Morgan, is in the closet.
“[I felt] Amused. All I know how to be is myself. All the world has known of me since my childhood is me being true to myself. I’m so grateful to have an incredibly full and #BlessedLife. Blessings are not fake. Fascinating to witness ‘Unhinging in Jamaica,’ the mini-series,” Fields said about Moore.
Clearly, Fields didn’t take Moore’s apology too seriously because last week she blasted Moore on Instagram, saying, “I’ve told you keep my family out of your unimportant irrelevant mouth.”
Well, according to reports, the ladies of “RHOA” will begin filming the reunion special this week and sources expect Moore and Fields to go head to head once again over the shade thrown between each other. And we don’t expect either to apologize if that happens.
