Now that Zendaya is one of Hollywood’s hottest young starlets, it comes as no surprise that fans and paparazzi alike are waiting with baited breath to see what superstar guy she’s going to end up dating. And recently it seems like fans finally got an answer to that question when Zendaya was spotted attending events with NFL superstar Odell Beckham Jr. Now that rumors have begun floating around about the pair, Zendaya has decided to speak out and share whether she is or isn’t with Beckham.
According to media reports, in a recent interview, Zendaya opened up about going out with Beckham, but shared that she’s not dating him.
“Here’s the thing, a couple of things, first of all it wasn’t really a date. We went to some events together, because we’re friends. We were with a group, we were with multiple people. I was with my stylist and everything like that,” Zendaya said.
However, that doesn’t mean that she’s ruled Beckham out as potential boyfriend. In fact, Zendaya says that it’s quite possible that one of these days fans might see her on a date with Beckham. However, not before he passes one test in particular to prove that he’s worthy of her time and heart.
“First and foremost, I never deal with anyone who couldn’t get through my dad in the first place. If you can’t get through dad, then there’s just no point,” Zendaya said, adding that she likes that her dad intimidates any potential suitors.
Even Zendaya’s father got in on the conversation and was asked if he felt Beckham passed the “audition.”
“There’s no passing a test. I mean, I’m a dad. So, ultimately, all decisions are hers. She’s a grown woman. But I’m glad that she allows me to be in her life to screen,” said Zendaya’s dad.
When asked to play a game of “date, marry or kill” with Beckham, Zendaya decided that she would date Beckham.
Well, it looks like we’ll have to wait and see if Beckham or any other man can get through Zendaya’s “audition” and get into a relationship with her.
