Please allow us to introduce the CEO of MOSAIC Moon, Sabrina Player. MOSAIC Moon is the new space for creative expression. No stranger to the world of business, and inspired by business mogul Oprah Winfrey and educator David Jernignan; Player’s passion for providing spaces of peace, fun, and relaxation for mind, body and soul, comes alive at MOSAIC Moon.

After becoming disenchanted with having to go outside of her neighborhood to have a quality enrichment experience, and seeing her neighbors and others she knew doing the same; Player’s mission became clear: Maintaining the Onus of Synergy, Authenticity and Independence in our Community. Her loyalty to this mission is seen in the acronym for which the space is named. She’s looking forward to opening those doors grandly on March 12, 2016.

Player wanted to incorporate more than one medium, so she successfully negotiated a deal for [two] connecting spaces “where people could come and leave everything at the door, and feel good about what’s in their community.” One building houses the Body Studio — adults can enjoy yoga, Zumba, and Pilates as well as dance hall, belly dancing, modern, jazz, salsa, hip-hop, Bollywood dancing, and special events like “A Night for a King” an evening of music, dance and spoken word, designed to show appreciation for our men.

The second building houses the Art Studio, where guests can bring their favorite thing to drink and prepare for a great experience on canvas. No artistic experience is necessary. Saturday afternoons, and spring and summer breaks are dedicated to providing children ages 5-13 with a great artistic experience. In true CEO and paying it forward fashion, Player, who is a former educator at Kipway Academy, and former owner of Spa V – Visionary Day Spa, sees MOSAIC Moon as “a space that others can use as a catalyst to build their [own] dreams.”
