Amber Rose expands on her defense of Kim Kardashian West’s controversial nude selfie.

“I thought she looked beautiful,” Rose, 32, said in a new Nightline interview. “I’m a mom, I know how hard it is to work out and try to get your body back, but at the same time embracing the fact that your body does change after you have a baby.” (The photo in question was from before Kardashian West gave birth to new son Saint, 3 months.)

She continued, “Just to be proud of your body after carrying a baby is just cool. And, I’ve seen that she was getting a lot of [criticism] and I didn’t think it was fair, so I wanted to speak about it.”

As previously reported, on Sunday, March 6, reality star Kim Kardashian shared a nude selfie with fans via Instagram which elicited jokes from Bette Midler, Piers Morgan and criticism from actress Chloe Grace Moretz, and Pink among others. Of course, Kim (we all know it was Kanye) and her brand new attitude clapped back at the trio. Soon after, other stars including Rowan Blanchard, Ariel Winter and Bella Thorne came to her defense, arguing that critics would do well to build women up rather than pit them against one another.

“Shout out to all of the women, across the world, using their brains, their strength, their work ethic, their talent, their ‘magic’ that they were born with, that only they possess. It may not ever bring you as much ‘attention’ or bank notes as using your body, your sex, your t–s and a–es, but women like you don’t need that kind of ‘attention,’” wrote Pink via Twitter.

To our surprise, Rose also came to Kardashian-West’s defense, despite a recent Twitter rant by Kanye West who dissed the model, her ex-husband Wiz Khalifa, and their son. “Pink we were all born naked, society sexualizes our breast and bodies. If a grown mother of 2 is comfortable with her body and wants to show it off that’s none of our business or anyone else. Now, if u wanna talk to kids and be a mentor to young teens, tell them to go to school and to not use their bodies to get ahead?! I’m all for it!” she wrote. “But, please as a grown woman let another grown woman live as she wishes. That’s our problem! We’re so quick to down each other instead of uplifting,” wrote Rose via Instagram.

And it appears the slut-shaming advocate is holding her ground-which only begs the question, were these two ladies ever really beefing? Or was it all for show? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section below.
