Phaedra argues with Kandi over Apollo
Andy turns his attention to Phaedra and asks her about her prison visit to Apollo as well as all of the opinions the rest of the cast has about her relationship with her incarcerated husband. Phaedra blasts the ladies, especially Kandi, for criticizing her for not wanting her kids to visit Apollo in prison, especially since most of them don’t check in on her kids anyway. Kandi speaks up to defend herself and tells Phaedra that she hasn’t visited the kids because she hasn’t been on good terms with their mother. It saddens her that Ayden and Dylan don’t have a strong relationship with their father and that if she was in Phaedra’s shoes she would let her sons see their dad because he won’t be in prison forever and it may be harder for them to form a bond with him later on. Phaedra fires back that Apollo made a choice that pulled him away from his kids and put him in prison. However, Kandi explains to Phaedra that because she is a real friend to her she feels it’s her obligation to tell her the truth and the pros and cons about her choices to marry Apollo and to keep their sons from visiting him.
