Phaedra Parks and Todd Tucker have been going back and forth with each other for nearly two years over a fitness DVD that Tucker claims he wasn’t properly paid for after he filmed it for Parks. Sadly, Tucker’s husband and Parks’ former BFF, Kandi Burruss, has been stuck in the middle while also dealing with her own personal issues with Parks. Although Parks recently revealed that she finally paid Tucker in full for his services, the prim and proper Southern belle recently claimed that it may be too late to reconcile with Tucker and Burruss.
As fans know, Tucker accused Parks of failing to settle her debt with him for filming a fitness DVD for her. However, Parks claimed that she didn’t pay him the full amount because her life was turned upside down when her husband, Apollo Nida, went to jail and because Tucker didn’t give her a finished product that she could sell.
Despite the drama, it seemed like things were finally heading towards a positive place when Tucker and Parks sat down and hashed out a deal for Parks to get her completed projected and Tucker to get his money. However, at the reunion it was revealed that Parks just finished paying off Tucker last month and she claims he gave her footage that isn’t good enough to sell.
During a recent appearance on “Watch What Happens Live,” a fan asked Parks about settling her debt with Tucker a week before the reunion was filmed and if she did it in order save face in front of the other ladies, especially Burruss.
“No, it is not. I had asked Todd for the actual footage and I still got it in an unusable file. So I wanted to just clear it all. I gave it enough energy. I’m done with it. He’s been paid his total $25,000. He can go and do what he needs to do now,” Parks explained.
Although we’re not surprised that Parks wants to be done with the situation with Tucker, she shared some more troubling news when host Andy Cohen mentioned that an upcoming scene from the conclusion of the reunion might possibly show the bitter end of Parks’ friendship with Burruss. Parks explains that she hasn’t spoken with Burruss since the reunion and that their friendship may indeed be dead.
“Like I said at the reunion, I’ve tried and I’ve tried. I’ve made every concession that I can and so, right now, I’ve just got to leave it in God’s hands because I can’t do anything else,” Parks said.
Although Burruss previously said that she plans to try and hash things out with Parks after the reunion has finished airing, something tells us these two will never be the same again.
