Earlier this week, Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna surprised fans when they allegedly announced their engagement. And while the Kardashian-Jenner clan has remained mum on social media regarding the news, the former stripper’s ex, Tyga, recently shared his thoughts on his ex-fiancée moving on.
As fans know far too well, the “Rack City” rapper is currently dating Kardashian’s sister Kylie Jenner, and shares a son, King Cairo, 3, with Rob’s soon-to-be wife. “It makes me happy to see the mother of my son happy. My only concern in this situation is my son. I want him in happy environments,” Tyga tweeted. “He’s innocent in this. & I want him to feel as much love as possible.”
Naturally, after news of the engagement broke, memes began surfacing online mocking what could potentially become a complicated family situation for King Cairo if his mother were to marry the reality star and his father were to marry Jenner, 18.

Everybody deserves 2 be happy. What some1 does for their happiness is not my concern, as long as it’s not interfering wit my happiness.

Only an evil heart would direct negativity at a child & make fun of him for being in a situation that is out of his control.

Meanwhile, a source tells People, “No one [in Rob’s family] is jumping up and down with excitement today-They have made a united decision as a family to not comment on social media yet about Rob’s engagement. The news is not shocking, and not totally unexpected.”
In 2011, Tyga met Blac Chyna on the set of a music video. It was love at first sight for the couple who got engaged shortly after. In October 2012, they welcomed their son. But in August 2014, the duo called it quits, citing a long list of irreconcilable differences. On Monday, April 4, Kardashian, popped the question just 10 weeks after he and Blac Chyna, 27, took their relationship public.
