A number of friends came together at Chicago’s Room 43 Restaurant to celebrate the life of recently deceased radio icon Doug Banks. A host committee of Tracy Alston, Norman Bolden, Marv Dyson, Merry Green, Jeff Moody and Abe Thompson shared stories, acknowledged fellow radio executives, and showed a touching video tribute to Banks at a reception featuring a number of influential Chicago media and business executives, including Ramonski Luv, Robin Robinson, Ken Bedford, George Daniels, Tony Scofield, Gene Chandler, Shirley Strawberry and Bonnie DeShon,g among others.
