Each spring, commencement ceremonies mark a major milestone in the lives of graduates, and their parents, families and friends. In hopes of sending their alumni off well, Historically Black Colleges & Universities do an outstanding job of securing well-rounded and prestigious speakers for their ceremonies.

Take a look at current HBCU commencement speakers starting with our commander in chief. It’s his last term in the Oval Office and Howard U’s 2016 graduates will be afforded the honor of having President Barack Obama speak at their commencement.
