President Obama, Tyler Perry among HBCU commencement speakers for 2016

Global media leader, philanthropist, producer and actress Oprah Winfrey has had a tremendous impact on popular culture as a whole. Winfrey will be the featured keynote speaker at Johnson C. Smith University. The ceremony will be held on Sunday, May 15, 2016, at 8 a.m. at the Irwin Belk Complex.
