Congrats are in order for Angela Simmons.
The daughter of Run–D.M.C’s Rev. Run announced on Instagram Friday, May 27 that she is expecting her first child.
“We are overjoyed and super excited to receive a blessing this big! Starting a family was something that I could have only dreamed of,” Simmons, 28, wrote alongside a snap of her growing baby bump.
In case you missed it, in April, the socialite, model and fashion designer announced she was engaged with a drool-worthy snap of her diamond sparkler. “YES!! I couldn’t be more excited. This is only something I could of only dreamed of. I’m over the moon and feeling so blessed to be able to share my life with the one I truly love. Everything happened in the most perfect way,” she wrote via Instagram.
Of course, the WeTV reality star is already a proud aunt to siblings Vanessa and JoJo‘s children. Simmons’ older sister welcomed her first child, daughter Ava Marie Jean, in February 2014 while younger brother JoJo welcomed his first child, Mia KayLee, in February 2016.
We wouldn’t be surprised if Simmons makes for one spectacular mom. Although a due date has yet to be disclosed, the “Growing Up Hip Hop” star’s pregnancy appears to be coming along swimmingly. Show her some congratulatory love in the comment section below.
