Congratulations on being elevated to Archbishop, can you tell me more of what that means?

The elevation to Archbishop came as a surprise to me. I was not expecting it and I was deeply moved that my patriarch, Bishop Roy E. Brown chose me to represent in this capacity. It is an honor … with Bishop Roy E. Brown being in my life more than 25 years, I am honored to carry out his wishes as the Lord sees fit.

Is it true that you have written over 2,000 books?

Yes, it is true I have written over 2,000 books in my lifetime. I have been following a practice for years that every message is a book. So every time a message is preached that message shows up to me as a book. I take it upon myself to pull my team together and get my thoughts on paper so that they can be established for many generations to come.

If a person chooses to be an authority they must first become an author. It is challenging to be an authority without authoring anything. Not speaking so much of private authority but the public authorities, because if it is not in black and white, it does not exist.

How do you find time to produce at such a prolific rate?

Finding the time to produce at such a prolific rate takes time of practice and I am still in practice and at work in developing mastery in this area of my life. One of the things that I have discovered is that a well-balanced life becomes a life that can do things that appear almost magical. Then there is the ability of one’s mastery that can be achieved if they will master the art of duplication. Leadership is not what you do but leadership is what you have left behind in your absence. Also, writing and prophecy is my passion and when you are in your passion, you don’t need an alarm clock, you don’t need coffee, because your passion is what keeps you moving at great prolific rates.

You are now a New York Times best-selling writer. Of the books that you have written, which stand out the most for you?

Yes, I am a New York Times best-selling author. And the book that stands out most is my New York Times best-selling book, The Laws of Thinking, which is 20 secrets of using the divine power of your mind to manifest prosperity. This book has also been written in many different languages. The Laws of Thinking have stood out because I was inspired to write this book by my mentor, Rev. Ike. In this book I began to reveal the spiritual laws that allow life to work.

How did you decide to go into ministry?

I decided to go into ministry once I heard the call of ministry. A month after I got it on March 21, 1975, is when the Lord appeared unto me in a dream and said that I must prophesy for him. I did not know what prophecy was and was shocked to have such a great calling. I went to Bible school and started my training getting great foundations and the word of God at the Manhattan Bible Institute, the Tabernacle Bible Institute, and many others. I started to notice there was very little information on the prophetic, so I responded to the call of God to do ministry and preach my first trial sermon at the age of 20. At 23 I opened up my ministry, Zoe Ministries and that is my answer to the call of ministry.

How do you feel about your son, Manasseh Jordan, following in your footsteps?

It brings excitement to any father when they discover that their son has chosen to follow in their footsteps and not me to follow in their footsteps. My son took it upon himself to do this really against my will because I had other plans for him and I wanted him to do some other things in his life before he attempted ministry. Looking at this he stepped out anyway and owned who he was as a man and generated ministry on his own without the help or assistance of his father. So I am very proud of him to see what he has done. He watches me from close and afar and has put what I have done in ministry into practice and gave my ministry to a new generation.

What are your goals for your ministry?

My goals in ministry is to globalize the world with the prophetic. To globalize the world with the prophetic is changing every life one prophecy at a time. That allows us to train prophets and help people to develop their prophetic gifts. Prophets get the opportunity to get trained and let me preface that God makes prophets but he has given me the ability to train them.

With the specialized knowledge of God’s words to develop people in the gift that God has given them it allows them freedom in a space to practice. So my goal on the Earth is to globalize the world with the prophetic and allow it to become the gospel of the kingdom and preaching Jesus the Christ the son of the living God.

We are currently in a pivotal election year. Do you encourage your parishioners to get out to vote, or do you feel religious leaders should stay out of politics?

Yes, this is the pivotal election year and I do encourage the parishioners to get out and vote. I do not tell them who to vote for, but it is time for the church to rise and become a voice in the matter of politics. This year’s election not only represents the changing of the guard, but it will also change the way America is viewed for years globally.

Can you give any insights into the business side of running a ministry that many parishioners might not understand?

The business side of running a ministry that people may not understand is that it takes money to run a spiritual operation. Oftentimes people don’t like to mix money with God but we have shown people that God is their money, but money is not there God. The business side of running a ministry calls for integrity, honesty, workability and the ability to do things and fulfill the peoples’ expectations.

What can you tell us about the Prophecology conference coming up July 9 – 14 in New York?

Prophecology is an event where people will be coming from around the world as far south as South Africa and as far north as Europe. I am excited because we will be unveiling 20 new books. We will be unveiling the Jordan Prophetic Bible commentary, which is a 10 volume set of commentary on the Bible from Genesis to Revelations. It is time for us to begin to start developing works that we can train prophets in so that they can be efficient in the work that they are given to do on the earth. I am excited about the prophets that will be coming to minister and the musical guests that will be sharing. I am also excited to see we will have prophetic voices that will be sharing with us out of Africa and the United Kingdom. The prophets will get to experience that truly the world has become a village and that the prophets of the 21st century must have accurate thinking in expressing their prophecy.
