What is your stage name?
N.E.S., which stands for Narada El Sol. Narada is my real middle name and it means to shed light where there’s darkness.

How would you describe your music?
Soulful hip hop.

Who are two artists similar to your style?
Kendrick and J Cole for the new generation and Rakim and Mos Def for the older heads.

Tell me about your new project entitled Adidas.
Adidas is a 13 track album featuring Camil Williams and Sue Conway a Chicago legend. Every song is high impact and very lyrical leaving no room for fillers.

When did you start doing music?
I have been hip hop since birth having practiced all five elements at one time in my life but music is the one that stuck with me. Naming the project Adidas is an ode to what shaped me into the b-boy I am today. I started recording early January 2016 and it was released via cdbaby.com on July 7, 2016. Before my solo career I was signed to an indie label called Planet 11 and we performed all over the country with with a group called Usuall Suspectz. The group was like a Chicago Wu-Tang. I was one of the 3 producers and one of eleven emcees.

What do you want to accomplish through your music?
My goal is to teach self love. Black people need to know their value before stepping out into the world to conduct any type of relationship. We must first love ourselves and each other and the rest of the world will follow suit. All I do is lead by example.
