Monica and Shannon Brown’s marriage has been under major scrutiny this year thanks to rumors that began months ago that Brown was cheating on Monica. Luckily, it seemed like the couple was able to endure the storm of rumors and maintain their marriage. However, their marriage seemed to take another hit this week when yet another rumor surfaced that Brown had fathered a child outside of their marriage. Now, Monica has finally decided to open up about the rumors and confirm whether they’re true or not.
According to media reports, this week, a woman named Tammy allegedly came forward and claimed that she’d been having an affair with Brown. Tammy provided alleged text message exchanges with Brown about the affair and that Brown had even shared a photo of his penis with her.
Tammy allegedly had a baby by Brown. Rumors swirled that Brown asked Tammy to keep the baby a secret, but Tammy also allegedly had text messages with Monica’s brother and had shared sonogram photos.
In the past, whenever infidelity rumors have popped up about Brown and Monica’s marriage, Monica has typically remained silent and just let the rumors die down on their own. However, this time, Monica decided to respond on Instagram and claimed that the rumors were completely false. And she claimed that the only reason she was responding to the rumors is because the rumors involved photos of an innocent baby who Monica claims is not Brown’s child and has nothing to do with them.
“The last several years stories were sold & told without any truth whatsoever, our aging grandmother was called and told my brother n law was in a wreck & near death, my families lines stalked, & so on, but honestly I’ve never discussed it because I feel as entertainers we are fair game to a cruel world and new age media but I want to apologize to the family of this beautiful baby that someone used in a deceitful sick game to hurt my family. Although we had nothing to do with it I’m truly sorry your daughter was used this way… My love for children runs DEEP & I feel they’re off limits, but this sick world clearly doesn’t feel the same.. To her mother and father we are SO sorry@_piggy._ & @sneakyeats,” Monica captioned the photo.
Monica also posted the apology from the original site that posted the rumor, Industry On Blast, who explained that they felt terrible about posting the false story.
