Hold onto your hats. Marvel Studios has officially confirmed its Black Panther cast and it is everything.

Over the weekend, Kevin Feige appeared at Comic-Con 2016, where he unveiled the highly anticipated film’s stars during a panel in Hall H at the San Diego Convention Center. In addition to previously announced star Chadwick Boseman, who debuted as Black Panther in Captain America: Civil War earlier this year, the motion picture will include Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, and Danai Gurira. That’s a whole lot of chocolate deliciousness.

As previously rumored reported in May, Jordan, who worked alongside Black Panther director Ryan Coogler on Creed, is poised to play the mysterious Erik Killmonger. Meanwhile, Nyong’o, an Academy Award winner and Gurira will star as Nakia and Okoye, respectively — women from Black Panther’s home country of Wakanda, who serve as his bodyguards.

“One of the most amazing things about Wakanda is they have these women who are the best fighters in the kingdom,” Coogler said before bringing out Nyong’o and Gurira.

Although the comic film doesn’t hit theaters until July 2018, Marvel also debuted a new logo for Black Panther, which can be seen above. Fans were first introduced to Black Panther in May, where the superhuman got caught in the middle of the battle between Captain America and Iron Man.

“He’s definitely not the life of the party in this instance,” Boseman told EW about his Civil War appearance. “I think this is something true of the comic book character and the movie. You never quite know where he stands. There’s always a bit of concealing and mystery. So I think mysterious is more his boat. Not to say there’s not charm and he can’t be a ladies’ man and all that. It’s more like if there is humor, it’s more like James Bond.”

Of course, we anticipate nothing but perfection from the film. Will you be watching? Sound off in the comment section below.
