DJ Drama recently celebrated the release of his new album Quality Street Music 2 by hosting a listening party at Means Street Studio in Atlanta. DJ Drama was joined by Snoop Dogg and Lil Uzi Vert as he previewed the 10-track album. The album opens with the solid “Intro” by Lil Wayne. Lil Wayne provides a verse that is reminiscent of his collaborations with DJ Drama’s “Gangsta Grillz” mixtape series in the mid-2000s. Chris Brown shows up for “Wishing,” which is destined to be a R&B hit for the summer. T.I. and Young Thug provide the essence of Atlanta’s Trap music sound on “Can I.” And Ty Dolla Sign, August Alsina, and Trey Songz bring love to club with the song “Onyx.”

Overall, Quality Street Music 2 proves that DJ Drama has staying power to continue being a respected DJ in rap who knows how to push the culture forward.
