Moby vs. Eminem
During the 2001 Grammy Awards, singer-songwriter Moby went ham on Eminem, calling his music racist, homophobic, and misogynistic. Eminem responded by dissing Moby in his 2002 track “Without Me,” which he performed at the MTV Video Music Awards that same year. Tensions flared, when Triumph the Insult Comic Dog ambushed the producer about the verse: “Poor Moby. How could Eminem call you a 36-year-old bald-headed f*ck? First of all, you’re 35!”

Although Eminem initially refused to respond, all that changed when “Without Me” won Best Male Video. “That little Moby girl threw me out of my zone for a minute,” Eminem gloated during his acceptance speech. “Keep booing, little girl,” he continued. “I will hit a man with glasses.” Fortunately for Moby, the rapper never made good on his subtle threat.
