Teyana Taylor reveals the secret to her sexy body

There were a lot of memorable moments during this weekend’s MTV Video Music Awards, especially thanks to all of the “Black girl magic” oozing from the likes of Beyoncé and Rihanna. But another Black woman who held her own with them and stirred up just as much conversation was Teyana Taylor, who made a splash on-screen when Kanye West premiered his new music video for “Fade,” which features Taylor, at the awards ceremony. Since then, Taylor has broken the internet with talk about how amazing her body is and now Taylor has opened up about how she keeps her body so fit and sexy.

In the Flashdance-inspired West video, Taylor is wearing a thong and a slightly-too-small sports bra as she dances around in a gym. As the video progresses, Taylor and her fiancé, NBA star and rapper Iman Shumpert, are then seen making out, naked, in a shower stall before Taylor transforms into a cat-like humanoid as she perches over an oiled-up Shumpert and their 8-month old baby, Iman Tayla Shumpert Jr., among a flock of sheep.

For days now, fans have been praising Taylor for her abs of steel, toned arms, and amazing booty, especially since her body is all natural. And according to news reports, Taylor recently opened up about her fitness routine and explained that she doesn’t hit the gym at all.

“Dancing is my workout. I just dance. I almost feel like dance is so underrated in the fitness world,” Taylor explained.


An inside source also confirmed Taylor’s statement and explained that dancing is enough to keep her body in shape.

“Teyana Taylor has always just had a crazy dope body and the way she ‘works out’ is dancing in the studio. That’s her workout,” Taylor.

Besides having a naturally amazing body, the source also says that Taylor doesn’t diet either.

“Eating healthy is not her thing. She is the kind of girl that eats donuts and candy for breakfast. She just doesn’t gain weight,” the source said.

Taylor echoed this statement in another interview, stating, “My diet sucks. I eat pizza, fried chicken, macaroni; I don’t eat vegetables. But I dance!”

Taylor then explained that she has no problem sharing her dance moves with the rest of the world and she said that she plans to release a dance DVD in the near future to help others keep in shape.

“I think dancing, as far as fitness, is very underrated. Whether that’s Zumba, tap dancing, or ballet, you have to realize that this is an actual workout. Sometime this year, I want to make a DVD. For real. Most people are selfish — they’re trying to keep all their secrets to themselves. But I really want to do it to help out all of the ladies,” Taylor explained.
