Actor Jon Polito dies at 65

Prolific actor Jon Polito has reportedly died at 65.

The Philadelphia native was most widely recognized for his unforgettable performances in Miller’s Crossing, The Big Lebowski, and his comedic guest appearances on the hit shows “Seinfeld” and “Modern Family.” For 35 years, Polito had the pleasure of starring in over 100 films leaving his friends, family and acting counterparts with memories lasting a lifetime.


Polito died of cancer on Thursday night at City of Hope hospital in Duarte, California. He was first diagnosed with multiple myeloma back in 2010.

He is survived by his husband and partner of many years, Darryl Armbruster, also an actor.
